Back pain is very common among the people. It is experienced by around 80% of persons in our society. Lower back pain is a warning for spinal abnormalities. It is a result of our poor sitting posture. Before discus about the medicines we should know the main causes of back pain that are:-
  • Inactivity
  • Muscle strains or tight hamstrings
  • Poor posture
  • Arthritis
  • Non-supportive shoes
  • Pregnancy
  • Obesity
  • Emotional stress
  • Sleeping on a poorly made mattress

Essential Oils for back pain:-

Essential Oils are very useful in managing the chronic pains, especially in case of arthritis and sciatica. They relieve the pain and also improve the blood circulation in that area. It also helps in reducing the stress and anxiety which may be a cause of pain in the body.
There are some Essential Oils which can be used for back pain:-

Lavender Essential Oil:

This is the most popular oil, which can be used for any type of pain relief. It
is generally used for stress and tension relief. Lavender Essential Oil is also used to treat pain such as sore muscles, joint pain, and sprains. It reduces pain by 39 percent instantaneously in 10-20 minutes. This oil can also be used to treat skin and increase blood circulation.

Sandalwood Essential Oil:


Sandalwood Essential Oil is obtained from the Heartwood of the Sandalwood tree. It is one of the most expensive essential oil. To get high-quality oil, the tree should be at least 50 years or older. It has antispasmodic and anti-inflammatory properties. This oil is a powerful pain reliever and can be used for any kind of muscle pain, skeletal pain or neuralgia.


Thyme Essential Oil:

Thyme Essential Oil is a very useful for recovering from exercising or sports injuries. It is specifically used to treat the joint and muscle pain. This oil is great to get relief from any back pain or injuries resulting from physical activities. Thyme Essential oil has been used as traditional medicine for centuries.

Ginger Essential Oil:

Ginger is another essential oil, which is used for thousands of years as pain relief. It can be mixed into vegetable juice or eaten fresh or dried. How to use tea tree oil for acne


Tea tree oil is natural oil made by steam distilling the leaves of the Melaleuca Alternifolia plant. This plant is mainly found in the New South Wales region of Australia. It is a pale yellow or colorless oil and has an oily feel between the fingers. There are so many creams which you can buy from the market to treat your acne, but they have so many side effects. Pure 100% natural, unrefined and chemical-free Tea tree oil is a best alternative to the harsh creams to treat acne.

 Some people find tea tree oil to be irritating, so do a skin test before applying it directly on your face. For that do a patch test on a small area of your skin to see the effect of the tea tree oil. Put 2 drops of tea tree oil on a cotton swab, and apply the oil to the inside of your forearm. If your skin does not burn on turn red within 2 hours then you can use tea tree oil without diluting it but if you feel some irritation the use 50% of warm water and 50% of tea tree oil on your skin.

  1. Tea Tree Oil contains terpinen-4-ol which is responsible for its antimicrobial activity. When it applied to the affected skin, it destroys the skin-dwelling bacteria that cause acne.
  2. It works as a solvent because it easily removes the dust particles and grease present on the skin to protect it.
  3. This essential oil can deeply penetrate the skin to unblock the sebaceous glands. This disinfects the pores, dries out the whiteheads, pimples, zits, and blackheads, and prevents further outbreaks.
  4. It has antiseptic and antifungal properties that help in preventing acne and removes damaged skin cells.
  5. It also balances the skin pH level by controlling the oil production in the skin pores.
There are some methods to use tea tree oil on the skin for cure acne:-

Method 1: Apply tea tree oil directly on the skin

  1. Take a cotton pad or tissue and pour a few drops of tea tree oil onto it.
  2. Now gently apply it on the pimple or any scar
  3. Leave it for overnight or for a few hours
  4. In the morning normally wash your face with normal water, the redness and swelling should be seen decreased.
Note:- tea tree oil should always apply on clean and dry skin.

Method 2:- Tea Tree Oil Scrub for Face

  1. Mix 10 drops of tea tree oil, 1/8 cup of olive oil, 1/4 cup sugar in a bowl.
  2. Wash your face with warm water and rub this mixer onto your face gently with your fingers.
  3. Don’t put the scrub around your eyes and near your nostrils.
  4. Now gently massage on your face in circular motions for 2-5 min.
  5. Wash your face with warm water until all the sugar is gone.
  6. Pat your face with a soft towel gently.
Tip:- Repeat this tea tree oil facial scrub one night per week for 1 month to get effective result.

Method 3:- Tea Tree Oil with Aloe Vera

Aloe vera kills the bacteria that cause acne and soften the skin.
  1. Take 2 teaspoons of aloe vera gel and mix it with a few drops of tea tree oil.
  2. Apply this paste on the affected area and leave it for 3-4 hours.
  3. Now rinse your face with cold water.
  4. Repeat regularly to get effective results

Method 4:- Tea Tree Oil with Olive Oil

Olive oil has anti-bacterial properties and many nutrients that promote skin health and it also removes the extra oil and other toxins from pores and moisturizes the skin.
  1. Take 3 drops of tea tree oil and mix it with 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
  2. Apply the mixer on the affected area with a cotton.
  3. After 20-30 mins rinse your face with cold water.
  4. Repeat this process daily for best results.
